
Kuwait FC defeated its rival Qadisiyah 1-0, in the semifinals of the Emir of Kuwait Cup, thanks to Hussein el Hakem's winning goal. The White team qualified to the final of the tournament scheduled on 21 February.
It is an exceptional season for the White team aftet they won the titles of the Super Cup and the Crown Prince Cup. It is expected that the management of Kuwait, has spent awarded the team financially, after passing Qadisiyah, retaining the team's chances in winning the most beloved cup of Kuwait.
The fans of Qadisiyah chanted against the refree aftet the game, blaming him for their loss, prompting the special police forces to intervene, and to prevent any violent acts of the masses.
