Manama - Bna

Some of Bahrain\'s rising tennis players have been approved to compete in the Third Zain ITF Junior Tennis Championship, set to take place at the Bahrain Tennis Club (BTC) courts in Juffair from October 24 to 29. Hadeel Abdulraouf, who is ranked 1,413 in the world, was granted a place in the girls singles main draw. In the boys singles section, Yousef Qaed (1,656) and Khalid Al Mosawi (2,173), as well as unranked players Abdulrahman Janahi and Ayman Jaffar, are scheduled to take part in qualifying matches that will be held just before the main draw. Both Qaed and Janahi are presently competing in the main round of the 11th Saudi Arabia ITF Championship. Qaed will play his first round match against the tournament\'s second seed Mazen Abu Dhahi of Jordan, who has a 479 world ranking. On the other hand, Janahi will face an easier task, facing a non-ranked Saudi Omar Abdo in the opening round. The Bahrain event will also provide an opportunity for five additional youngsters to participate.
