London - Arabstoday
Windsor, England Black Bears dominated their rivals Salkeld to win the annual Al Habtoor Royal Windsor Cup, an event that continues to attract the leading players of the sport. Guy Schwarzenbach\'s side overturned a 5-4 half-time deficit to defeat Nick Clarke\'s Salkeld 10-6 in an exciting match. The Bears, one of 20 teams taking part in this year\'s competition, put on an excellent display in the fourth chukka, scoring five goals to none in response from Salkeld. The Queen presented the subsidiary Mountbatten Trophy to Simon Holley\'s Asprey London team. They defeated Alan Fall\'s Mad Dogs 11-6 on The Duke\'s Ground. The third presentation, for the Al Habtoor Challenge Match, saw Mohammad Al Habtoor retain the Challenge Match Trophy. Appropriately for Fathers\' Day, he was playing alongside his son Habtoor in the Habtoor 1 Team. Mohammad\'s brother Rashid was playing with his son Tarek in the Habtoor II team, but both brothers could call on the 10-goal skills of the Pieres brothers — Facundo with Mohammad and Gonzalo with Rashid.
