
An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted 31 km southwest of Norsup, Vanuatu at 04:38:28 GMT on Saturday, said the U.S. Geological Survey.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 16.26 degrees south latitude and 167.16 degrees east longitude.
