Infiniti President Roland Krueger introduced the new QX Sport Inspiration at the Paris Motor Show recently by saying that it is a statement of intent, showcasing a demonstration of Infiniti’s capabilities in the mid-size SUV segment.
An eventual production car would replace the ageing QX50, which has been around since 2009.
The Inspiration has a familiar Infiniti design cues that can be seen clearly.
Headlights similar to those seen on the Q30 embody Infiniti’s new design language.
Rear-view cameras replace door mirrors, too.
The car will compete with BMW X3 and Audi Q5.
