Quentin Tarantino has nothing on William Shakespeare -- there are 74 onstage deaths in the Bard's plays, according to a British theatre company which said Thursday it would perform them all in a new show.

"The Complete Deaths", staged by acclaimed clown troupe Spymonkey, will get its world premiere in Brighton, southern England, next May.

From the famously bloody "Titus Andronicus" to the tragic suicides of lovers Romeo and Juliet and a character in "Antony and Cleopatra", who simply sits in a ditch and dies of grief, the show will run the full gamut of Shakespearean gore.

The 90-minute play promises "countless stabbings, plenty of severed heads, some poisonings, two mobbings and a smothering," according to a press release.

Britain will celebrate 400 years since the death of Shakespeare, its most famous literary figure, in 2016.

All of which goes to prove the truth of one of his most famous lines: "Death will have his day".
