Damietta Port received five ships over the past 24 hours, the Media Center for Damietta Port Authority said in a statement on Sunday.

They included three container ships and one cargo vessel, the statement added.

Also, two cargo trains laden with 2,544 tons of wheat and 80 vehicles with 3,479 tons of wheat on board have left the harbor, according to the statement.

The grain and cereal silo is currently holding 103,527 tons of wheat, the statement read.
