The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC)
Doha - QNA

The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) is taking part in the Global Manufacturing and Industrialization Summit (GMIS), currently in session on Abu Dhabi.
The Doha-based organization said in a statement Wednesday that it is participating in the Summit in its capacity as a Strategic Partner of the Global Value Chain Market (GVCM), a business matchmaking platform dedicated to increasing regional and international partnerships and secure contracts.
The platform will provide networking and sourcing opportunities both online and onsite via pre-scheduled meeting program which matches participants with the key regional and international manufacturers looking for partners, subcontractors, investors or technical know-how.
Secretary General of GOIC Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al Ageel stated that GOIC’s participation in the GMIS highlights its importance in shaping a global industrial vision based on knowledge economy, particularly the 4th generation of industrial revolution applications that are increasingly gaining ground in the operation and management of the industrial operation and logistics.
He added that holding the GMIS in the UAE serves as an international recognition of the serious steps taken by the GCC states to focus on the industrial sector, in addition to their electronic readiness.
GOIC also took part in the accompanying exhibition. Its booth featured an overview of the Organization’s various programs such as the Gulf Subcontracting and Partnership Exchange (GSPX), the Industrial Market Information and its IMI Plus, the Training and Capacity Development (TCD), the SME Industrial Technical Assistance (ITA), the Manufacturing Investment Opportunities Program (MIOP) and the Industrial Studies and Policies (ISP).
The GMIS is a world-first industrial gathering offering a voice and a venue for leaders with a vision to shape the future of manufacturing with a hand-selected audience of over 1,200 delegates, to include government leaders, companies and civil society organizations.
The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) is a regional organization that brings together the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait and the Republic of Yemen.
It is an advisory knowledge-based institution aiming at developing regional industries by providing data, information, specialized researches, consultations and technical services for the public and private sectors in GCC countries. It seeks industrial integration and coordination between Member States and endeavors to shape a regional industrial policy.
