VP Affirms importance of projects sponsored by African Motherhood Society

The Vice-President of the Republic, Hassabo Mohammed Abdul Rahman has assured the importance of the projects sponsored by the African Motherhood Society and the communities supported by society .
Hassabo who met, Wednesday, at the Presidential Palace, a delegation representing the society, in the presence of the Minister of Welfare and Social Security, Mashaer Al-Dawalab and the concerned circles, was briefed on the performance of the society and its future plans .
The Director of Child Unit, at the Society, Somiya Abdulla Mahmud said in press statements that the meeting discussed issued related to training and upgrading of the homeless and supporting of the economic and social situations of the poor families with special emphasis on Darfur states .
