Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index dropped 73.27 points (0.70 percent) when the bourse closed trading at 10,411.77 points Tuesday.
The volume of shares traded increased to 10,871,079 from 7,853,704 on Monday and the value of shares also increased QR 84,145,000.93 from QR 36,797,015.94 on Monday. From the 44 companies listed on QSE, shares of 41 saw trading today. From these,17 gained and 21 companies closed lower today, remained three companies unchanged. 
Indices of three sectors ended in green and remained four sectors ended in red today. QSE Total Return Index dropped 0.70 percent to 17,365.76 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index down 0.28 percent to 4,166.21 points and QSE All Share Index decreased 0.53 percent to 2,948.57 points.
