
Babylon Operations Command announced that a security force managed to kill 13 members of Daash organization or the Islamic State of Syria and the Levant (ISSL), north of the province of Babylon in southern Iraq.
It added that a force from Babylon Operations Command broke into a Daash organization hideout on Babylon-Baghdad high way killing five members of the organization in the area of Moweilha, near the international highway, adding that eight others were killed at Jarf Al-Sakhr area as well as the leader of the South state Hazem al-Saidi who carried out terrorist operations in Latifiya, Yusifiyah and areas in north of Babylon. ”
The Command stressed that the Babylon Operations imposed control over the Jarf Al Sakhr area and deployed three thousand volunteers on the international highway, including snipers, saying they were equipped with all sophisticated weapons to confront and repel every attack carried out by Daash members.
In the same context, security forces clamped a blockade on Daash militants in the centre of Tal Afar district in northern Iraq. A security source said security forces clamped a blockade on the Daash in Al Qalaa area in central Tal Afar in northern Iraq.
