
The joint Iraqi forces resumed the liberation of Ramadi city from the control of Daesh terrorist group, thwarted suicide bombings and killed at least 29 extremists in Anbar.
The Iraqi army underlined Thursday that it managed to clear two districts in southern Ramadi from explosive charges.
A military source said that the army clashed with elements of Daesh in southern Ramadi and killed 20 terrorists.
The army also shelled a site belonging to Daesh in Fallujah resulting in damaging the hotbed and two cars. About seven extremists were killed and nine others were wounded during the operation.
