
Fifty DAASH militants were killed when the Iraqi Army Air Force raided Camp Cobra in Al-Saadia area, northeast of Baghdad.
A security source said fifty militants belonging to DAASH organization, or the Islamic State of Syria and the Levant (ISSL), were killed in Camp Cobra and large numbers of machineries and vehicles were destroyed.
The security source confirmed that the Air Force, in coordination with military intelligence, also raided a group of DAASH militants at Badush prison in northern Iraq, killing a large number of them. A house harbouring DAASH elements at Suleiman Bek, south of Kirkuk in northern Iraq was also destroyed.
For its part, the Baghdad Operations Command announced that three snipers and a number of gunmen were killed, explosives were dismantled and a number of wanted men were arrested in the Iraqi capital.
