At least 28 Iraqis were killed and 56 others, including women and children, were wounded in a series of blasts in Baghdad's southeastern suburb of Jisr Diyala, an Iraqi security source said on Tuesday.
A bomb exploded in Jisr Diyala street, and minutes later two car bombs went off as people started to gather around the site.
The blasts caused damages to many shops and cars in the area, as ambulances carried the victims to nearby hospitals, the source added.
Meanwhile, three people, among them a policeman, were killed and six others wounded in a commercial area in Youssifiyah, 20 kilometers south of Baghdad.
Earlier, a parked car bomb went off in in Mishada town, north of the capital, killing at least two civilians and wounding eight.
