
The joint Iraqi forces began Sunday liberating "Alboveab" area in northern Ramadi from the control of Daesh terrorist group.
The operation will be carried with the cooperation of the Iraqi aviation and the forces of the international coalition.
In press statements, the commander of Anbar operations Ismail el Mahlawy said that the Iraqi forces destroyed two booby-trapped houses and a factory of poisonous "chlorine" gas in the area, adding that the troops proceed without resistance from the extremist organization.
The joint Iraqi forces began the second stage of freeing Ramadi city in October 7.
