
The Iraqi security forces has launched today a military offensive to clear the outskirts of Fallujah from the Daesh terrorists, a senior Iraqi army source said.
The source told Petra’s reporter in Baghdad that “15 Daesh elements were killed during the crackdown”.
The onslaught against the terrorists saw the involvement of the international coalition and Iraqi warplanes, the source added.
Tightening the noose operation also involved troops from the Iraqi army, police and volunteers from the National Crowd, it explained.
