
Iraqi security forces on Saturday closed a bridge in central Baghdad which leads to the green zone to ban two protests from reaching the premises of the Iraqi parliament and government.
One of the protests included workers who are demanding appointment in the ministry of electricity, while the second is the families of military cadets slaughtered at Camp Speicher on June 11, 2014 have received little or no attention from Iraqi authorities.
The families are demanding the implementation of death sentences issued by the Iraqi Criminal Court against 24 convicts of the crime.
Meanwhile, Daesh militants killed two women and a man who took part in a protest in Falloujah denouncing the barbaric acts of the terrorist elements in the city.
