
Dozens of members of the terrorist group of Daesh have been killed in military operations conducted by Iraqi security forces in Anbar in western Iraq.
In a statement, the Baghdad operations command said 33 Daesh fighters were killed in an operation to liberate areas, southern Fallujah.
Scores of explosive charges were defused and two vehicles loaded with machine guns were captured during the operation, said the statement.
A sniper also shot dead one terrorist and injured another.
Two terrorists were also killed by security forces in Karmah and Nazim areas, in the northeast of Ramadi. Eight others were shot dead in two areas, in the west of Baghdad, said the statement.
In Maamir, two terrorists were killed, it added.
