Minister of Labor and Social Development Ali Al-Ghafis decided to amend the employment rates for economic activities in "Netaqat" program, through six months.

In his decision, Al-Ghafis  based on the results of the studies carried out by the ministry to promote employment and the need to make some adjustments to the employment program in line with the developments. This came after the minister reviewed the results achieved in the labor market and the database of job seekers, jobs and Saudi strategic objectives for employing the Saudis.

The Minister of Labor ordered the larger establishments to accept higher employment, with the exception of a number of sectors such as construction and construction, collection offices, real estate services, advisory services and businesses.

The decision will make the smaller facilities for private girls' schools and foreign schools as well as boys' schools to accept higher.

Large enterprises in a number of sectors, including oil and natural gas, financial institutions and foreign schools, will receive a high green scale for employing 90% of the citizens, while construction facilities also will receive a green scale for employing 15%.

On the other hand, the ministry stressed that "Netaqat" program aims to provide suitable job opportunities for citizens, reducing the unemployment rate from 12.1% to 9%, and increasing the participation of women in the market to 28% by 2020.
