Belarus to assemble tractors in Egypt

Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed el Assaar received here Sunday Belarus Ambassador in Cairo Sergei A. Rachkov and Minsk tractor works General Director Fedor Aleksandrovich Domotenko.
An agreement on signing a memorandum of understanding between the company, one of the largest manufacturers of agricultural machinery in the world, has been reached. The agreement includes producing farm tractors and increasing local manufacturing to serve agricultural activities in the local market and to reach neighboring states.
Assaar reviewed technological and manufacturing potentials in the civilian and military fields. He said cooperation will take place in the various fields between the two sides.
The company's head expressed full readiness to start cooperation with the ministry as soon as possible
