Daesh chief expert on missiles and mortars has been killed in an air raid conducted by a US drone, international coalition spokesman US army colonel Steve Warren was quoted by US-funded Radio Sawa as saying on Sunday.
Abdulaziz Jassim Mohamed Hassan, also known as Jassim Khadija, was responsible for shelling Makhmur military base in Nineveh province last month, he added.
The shelling, Warren added, had killed a US Marine soldier and wounded other American forces who were at the targeted camp.
