Germany's first Type-209/1400 submarine arrives in Alexandria

Germany's first Type-209/1400 submarine arrived on Wednesday in the Egyptian territorial waters in Alexandria city.
The Egyptian Navy will hold a ceremony shortly to mark the German submarine's arrival and joining the Egyptian Navy.
The hand-over ceremony will be held at the military port in Alexandria.
The submarine was launched by ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems (TKMS) in the German city of Kiel.
