Prime Minister of Britain David Cameron announced Friday his resignation, following the results of a referendum that saw the people of England decide to leave the European Union.
Cameron spoke to reporters outside Downing Street and said that the UK needed "fresh leadership" following the results of the referendum. Cameron had campaigned for the UK to remain part of the EU. Cameron said that he will hand over power once the Conservative Party elects a new leader in October.
