King Hamad bin Issa al Khalifa
Manama - MENA

Bahrini newspapers of Saturday shed light on the speech of Bahraini King Hamad bin Issa al Khalifa on the occasion of the national day.

In his speech, the Bahraini king underlined the important role played by his country at regional and international arenas.

Bahrain appreciates joining all military and security alliances and international and Gulf security to protect the Arab and Islamic regions from terrorism, he said, according to Akhbar Al Khaleej newspaper.

The newspaper stressed that this effective role in all the alliances will remain crucial for the strong ties with the international community.

Al Watan Newspaper said that Bahrain preserved its strong and independent entity and sovereignty.

Bahrain will continue its regional and strong role and will not hesitate to honor that pledge whatever the sacrifices, Al Bilad Newspaper quoted the Bahraini king as saying.
