Al Bowardi decorates US Commander of Central Army Command

ABU DHABI, 20th February, 2017 (WAM)--Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence, decorated on Monday Lt. General Michael Jarrett, Commander of U.S. Army Central Command with Emirates Military Order of First Class.
Earlier, Al Bowardi received in his office at IDEX Lt. General Garrett and the accompanying delegation. They are currently visiting the country to attend IDEX 2017.
The UAE official welcomed Lt. General Garrett and discussed with him friendship and cooperation between the UAE and U.S. and ways to strengthen them, especially the cooperation and coordination between the two countries in areas of military and defence to serve the common interests of the two friendly countries.
The two parties also exchanged views on the latest regional developments and a number of issues of common concern.
