Moroccan authorities seized on Monday 94 kg of Chira (cannabis resin) at the Bab Sebta crossing point during an operation that led to the arrest of two Moroccan nationals living in the occupied city of Sebta, a source from the customs services said Tuesday.
During a joint operation, the customs and police services seized 94 kg of chira hidden in a car registered in Sebta, driven by a Moroccan national who was trying to smuggle the drug into the occupied city of Sebta, the same source said.
The suspect and his wife, who were accompanied by their three minor children, were handed to the Tetouan judiciary police to complete the investigation before being brought to justice.
