China on Friday donated to the Beninese government some office equipment to support the public administration of the West African country.
Chinese Ambassador to Benin Diao Mingsheng handed the donation to Aurelien Agbenonci, Benin's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
The donation includes computers, printers, photocopiers, scanners, video projectors, tablet PC, servers and UPS units.
It is part of the cooperation between China and Benin agreed at the Forum on the China-Africa Cooperation in Johannesburg, South Africa, last December, Diao said.
For his part, Agbenonci said the donation will contribute to the capacity reinforcement of Benin's administration, which is important to the development of Benin.
