
Director-General Inter Services Public Relations Major General Asif Ghafoor said that Operation Khyber-IV has been completed successfully.
Addressing a news conference in Rawalpindi on Monday, he said during the operation, 52 terrorists were killed and 31 injured while 4 surrendered before the Army in Rajgal and Shawwal.
He said ground targets have been achieved in Rajgal and Shawwal due to the planned, integrated and effective operation against the terrorists, according to the Radio Pakistan.
DG ISPR said that hundreds of explosive landmines were defused during the operation. He said 95 percent affected persons have been returned to their homes. He said 91 posts have been established in Rajgal area.
The clearance operation is in progress in Khyber Valley. He said development phase is being implemented after clearance in tribal areas. He said FATA Reforms are imperative for development of the area.
