The Russian president discussed with them the implementation of provisions he outlined in his state-of-the-nation address to the Federal Assembly earlier in the day, as well as the situation in Syria, Sputnik news agency quoted Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying on Thursday.
"A discussion of a whole range of issues related to implementation of main provisions of the president’s address to the Federal Assembly took place … The Syrian topic with an emphasis on the situation in Aleppo was made," Peskov told reporters.
He added that the need for continuation of provision of humanitarian aid for civilians of eastern Aleppo was noted.
