Major General Maktoum Ali Al Sharifi, Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Police, has called on officers from the Abu Dhabi Police Command and Control Centre to work on improving and developing the quality of their services, and to deal with cases and operations under shorter time frames, as part of the efforts of the Abu Dhabi Police to improve its services and promote security and safety in the community.
While reviewing the latest systems and developments at the centre, Al Sharifi highlighted the importance of human resources in completing their tasks with excellence and devotion. He praised the efforts of local police employees and their desire to communicate, in a civilised manner, with the general public, to promptly deal with their requests and complaints.
The centre conducts its work using a modern electronic system and an advanced database, to receive all types of emergency reports through the emergency phone line (999) and deal with them through advanced working procedures.
After receiving phone calls on the emergency line, the operations administration team assigns the cases to the relevant police departments and coordinates with them with high-levels of professionalism and accuracy.
