Chairman of National Committee for Reconstruction of Gaza Inaugurates Residential Project

Chairman of the National Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza HE Ambassador Mohammed Al Emadi inaugurated today a project to establish a number of residential flats in Deir Al Balah in Gaza.
The project entails the construction of six flats in the city. The Ambassador delivered today a unit to one of the entitled families. Al Emadi stressed that Qatar will continue to support the people of Gaza and help alleviate the siege they are under. Al Emadi added that these efforts were based on the directives of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HH the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.
The project is financed by the committee, as part of a grant by HH the Father Emir and will see nine other flats outside Deir Al Balah as well for a total of $13 million. The project also includes preparing the necessary infra-structure such as roads, parks, water, electricity among other things.
