Egypt's Foreign Ministry asserted on Tuesday that the occupied Golan Heights are part and parcel of Syria.
This came in response to comments by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who declared at the country's first cabinet meeting held in the occupied territory that the Golan Heights will forever stay in Israel's hands.
The Israeli premier's remarks constitute a violation of the principles of international law and the Security Council's and the UN General Assembly's resolutions, the Foreign Ministry said.
