Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, today met a Paraguayan ministerial delegation currently visiting the UAE.
During the meeting held here, Al Mansouri discussed with the delegates ways to strengthen economic relations, especially in the fields of agriculture and food industries, and enhance co-operation in areas such as logistics services, shipping, storage and associated infrastructure.
The Paraguayan delegates included Gustavo Leite, Minister of Industry and Commerce; Santiago Pena, Minister of Finance; Francisco Barriocana, Minister and the President's Economic Advisor; Angel Ramon Barchini, Paraguayan Ambassador to Qatar, and other senior officials.
Mohammed Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Al Shihi, Under-secretary for Economic Affairs; Juma Mohammed Al Kait, Assistant Under-Secretary for External Trade, and Mohammed Nasser Al Zaabi, Director of Commercial Promotion and Investment - all from the UAE’s Ministry of Economy – were also present in the meeting.
