
The Bahraini Foreign Ministry strongly denounced a terrorist attack on a military post offering services to Syrian refugees, leaving a number of Jordanian border guards dead and injured, the Bahraini news agency (BNA) reported.
The ministry, in a statement, offered its deep condolences to the families of the victims, expressing full solidarity with Jordan in its fight against terrorism.
Earlier in the day, Jordan's military said that six people were killed and 14 wounded in a car bomb attack on Jordanian troops along the kingdom's borders with Syria.
The attack took place early on Tuesday in the Rukban district near a Syrian refugees camp, the Jordanian Armed Forces general command said in a statement.
The attack targeted a military post offering services to Syrian refugees, it added.
