Jordanian King Abdullah II condemned the terrorist attack that hit Mar Gerges Church in Tanta on Sunday where many people were killed and injured.
In a cable to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, King Abdullah denounced this cowardly act, adding that Jordan is siding with Egypt in efforts to combat terror, according to a statement of the Jordanian royal diwan.
In the cable, the Jordanian king offered condolences to the Egyptians and wished the wounded a speedy recovery.
