
Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr. Bader Al-Essa Friday commended huge development of education during the rule of late King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia.
Speaking to KUNA, Al-Essa praised the late Saudi Monarch's contributions to all domains particularly education and higher education in Saudi Arabia in specific and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries in general.
He expressed sorrow for the passing away of King Abdullah.
"The people of Kuwait will always remember the positions and achievements of the late King, who will be remembered as a leader of reforms in the Kingdom who dedicated his life for the advancement of the GCC countries and unity of Muslims," he said.
Al-Essa commended the late King for contributing to the development of education in Saudi Arabia and the establishment of many universities nationwide.
