
Researcher Dr. Hani Mohammed Shodhary, a Saudi student on scholarship, has recently collected a number of scientific prizes abroad for his researches in the field of cancer combating, it was reported here today.
The student, who was sent on scholarship by Jeddah-based King Abdulaziz University, scored the Prize of Excellence offered by the American Association for Cancer Research at the international conference for SABCS-2014 which was held in St Antonio in the U.S., the prize and grant for cancer research for 2014 offered by the U.S. conglomerate of Affymetri, the Academic and Research Excellence prize for 2014, offered by the University of Oxford, Susan G Komen prize for what was termed as the best scientific paper in the field of breast cancer research at the international conference of the European Association for Cancer Research 2014 in Germany.
Dr. Shodhary was appointed academic supervisor of higher studies students at the University of Oxford.
To this effect, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Obaid Al-Youbi, Rector of King Abdulaziz University, paid tribute to Dr. Shodhary for his academic dedication and highly valued his scientific performance which helped upgrading the scientific status of his own name and in the name of his country, wishing him every success
