
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab inaugurated the Darul-Salam general hospital, one of the most important projects of the Health Ministry, in southern Cairo on Saturday.
The hospital will serve over 2 million residents of Darul-Salam neighborhood, mostly medium-income and below-medium-income brackets.
It will help reduce patient waiting lists at the National Cancer Institute.
Citizens will witness improved health services in the coming period, Mahlab has said.
The premier was accompanied by the health, housing, communications, local development and higher education ministers.
