
Cairo University decided to send a medical convoy to residents people affected by recent floods in Ras Gharib in Red Sea governorate.
The university donated with 20 million pounds to restore the houses damaged by the floods, according to a statement issued by the Red Sea governorate on Wednesday.
Red Sea Governor Ahmed Abdullah probed with Cairo University President Gaber Nassar sending a medical convoy from the university's Medicine Faculty to Ras Gharib.
The convoy will reach the city on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the governor followed up the overhaul of damaged streets which is carried out by the Armed Forces' engineering authority, petroleum firms and the General Authority for Roads, Bridges and Land Transport.
