Eight persons were injured in a partial collapse of a five-storey building in Aswan's El Sheikh Haroun area.
The Health Ministry said Monday that seven ambulances rushed to the site and moved the injured to Aswan University Hospital.
Aswan Governor Magdy Hegazy and Aswan security chief Magdy Moussa visited the site of the collapsed building.
Security forces cordoned off the area around the building.
