H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser and H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, today received the personal envoy of the President of Sudan, Lt. Taha Hussein Osman Ahmed, Minister of State and Director of the Office of the President, at the Presidential Palace.
The personal envoy of the President of Sudan conveyed the greetings of Sudan's President, Omar Hassan al-Bashir, to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, wishing him good health and further progress and welfare to the UAE's leadership and people.
They also tackled fraternal relations between the UAE and Sudan and ways to enhance them in various fields. They also reviewed issues of mutual interests.
Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General of the National Security Council and Humaid Saeed Al Neyadi, Deputy Director of the Office of the Minister of Presidential Affairs attended the meeting.
