His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar the Sultan and Sovereign Ruler of the State and Territory of Johor Darul Ta'zim in Malaysia has today visited the Bahrain National Theatre. 

Deputy Premier Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa, Deputy Premier Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa and other ministers welcomed HM Sultan of Johor, who is on visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain at the invitation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. 
Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa underlined the Kingdom’s keenness on building bridges of communication with other peoples all over the world. She expressed delight at receiving HM Sultan of Johor at the Bahrain National Theatre which, she said, symbolizes Bahrain’s keenness on promoting cultural exchanges through world art events. 
HM Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar the Sultan and Sovereign Ruler of the State and Territory of Johor Darul Ta'zim hailed Bahrain’s civilizational heritage, stressing his country’s desire to develop cultural ties. 
He toured Bahrain National Theatre and was briefed about the exhibition showcasing artworks by Iraqi artist Mehdi Moutashar, running until the 28th of February. He was also informed about BACA ongoing preparations to mark the national days in December and the Muharraq Capital of Islamic Culture 2018.
